When you register a domain name, the WHOIS info becomes available to the public. In the Domain Manager included in your Control Panel, you’ll find a WHOIS protection feature that will help you mask your private details by substituting them with our contact info.

The WHOIS protection option is available with most of the top–level domain name extensions offered on our site: .com, .info, .biz, .net, .org, .co, .co.za, .me, .tv, .pro, .cc and .we.bs.

With the Wildcard functionality available in the Domain Manager, you’ll be able to make all the hosts that you have got under a particular domain open the index page of your web site.

This functionality can be truly useful if you want to set up a multi–site app on your web site, or if you need a specific subdomain to direct to the main page of your website.

You can activate a wildcard domain name with a click of the mouse from the Control Panel–integrated Domain Manager interface. You just need to click on the Add Host button on the right and you’ll see the Wildcard option at the bottom of the dialog box.

Setting a new record is rather easy. All you have to do is select a domain and specify the record that you want. Any modification you make will be reflected online within just twenty four hours. In case you’d like to retrieve the old DNS record value, just click on the Revert button.

The Custom DNS section also boasts a GeoIP location tool, which allows you to redirect people from a particular geographic region to a specific language version of your web site.
